Hi, I'm Hailey

Oregon trained and registered Couples, Family, and Individuals Therapist

Education and Training

I believe that the foundation of effective therapy is a strong, trusting relationship. My own journey as a therapist is deeply rooted in my education and professional experiences, all of which have been dedicated to helping people navigate life's challenges.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Human and Family Services from the University of Oregon, which provided me with a strong foundation in understanding human development and family dynamics. This led me to pursue my Master's degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from George Fox University. It was there that I developed a passion for working with couples and families, and a deep appreciation for the power of relationships in healing and growth.

Over my career, I've had the privilege of leading numerous filial play therapy workshops. These sessions are designed to empower parents by teaching them how to use therapeutic play to strengthen their bond with their children and improve communication. This work has been incredibly rewarding, as I've seen firsthand how a little guidance can create lasting positive change within a family.

I specialize in couples counseling, and I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). This approach is based on the idea that our emotions are the key to our needs and that a secure emotional bond is essential for a healthy relationship. Using EFT, I help couples identify and understand their emotional patterns, which allows them to move from conflict and disconnection to a place of greater intimacy and connection.

I look forward to the possibility of getting to know you and supporting you on your journey.

My Therapeutic Philosophy

I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s complexities with greater ease and self-compassion. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, families, and couples through some of their most challenging and transformative moments.

I believe that every person, family, and couple has an innate capacity for growth. My role is to provide a safe, supportive environment where you can explore your experiences. A place where you feel challenged and empowered to understand patterns, and develop new ways of being in relationship with yourself and others.

Therapy is a collaborative process. While I bring professional expertise and evidence-based techniques, you are the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll work to identify what’s working, what’s not, and what changes might serve you better.

On A Personal Note

When I'm not in a session, I believe in nurturing my own well-being through the activities that bring me joy and a sense of grounding. My family—my husband, who is also my best friend, and our two young daughters—are my greatest source of inspiration and balance. We love to explore the outdoors together on hikes or find a quiet moment in my garden.

In my spare time, I have a passion for cooking, which has grown to include the rewarding hobby of maintaining a sourdough starter. Much like the process of nurturing my children, or tending to my garden, I find that the journey of growth in therapy and relationships requires patience, care, and attunement of emotional connection. These personal pursuits help me stay grounded and connected to the beautiful, unfolding process of life.

Let's Work Together

I'm honored to be part of your journey toward greater well-being and look forward to the possibility of working together.
